Dr. Anita Bangale is an emergency physician, certified mindset coach, and international TEDx speaker. She has served as Medical Director of the Emergency Department at St. Luke’s Hospital and emphasized department wellness during the COVID-19 pandemic. She currently works as a physician and owner at America’s ER, where she creates true partnerships with her patients. In the ER, she focuses on effective communication as a leader and prioritizes working under pressure with compassion and empathy. Dr. Bangale is also a certified life coach and founder and creator of Diya Coaching, a life coaching community focusing on teens, young professionals and moms. She aims to spread joy by improving and maximizing self-worth and confidence and believes in the magnificent, ignitable power of each person’s inner light. She thanks each of her clients for helping her fill her purpose as a coach.
Dr. Bangale believes that in the current healthcare system, compassionate care in the emergency department has become more challenging during the pandemic. The stress of personal protective equipment (PPE) and patient satisfaction scores threaten the intimacy of the doctor-patient relationship. She delivered a TEDx talk https://www.ted.com/tedx in Breckenridge, CO, in which she shows how a curious toddler helped refocus her energy back to the patient and how “de-armoring” to show up as our unscripted human self helps us reconnect with each other and ourselves.
Dr. Bangale also works as a physician leader with Brightside Health, a national telemedicine company focused on the treatment of anxiety and depression, and has given numerous talks for schools, universities, youth groups, physician groups and corporate groups. She most enjoys small group sessions with students in The Woodlands, TX where she lives with her husband and 3 daughters.
