Meet Anya

Anya Yeager is a professionally Certified Life Coach licensed by the Association of Coaching with a Masters in Clinical Psychology.  She specializes in overcoming childhood trauma and turning it into your ‘superpower’ as well as in executive and entrepreneurial leadership.

Anya’s Story:

Born and raised in Big Sur, California, Anya had an ‘unusual’ childhood to say the least. For entertainment, she read the classics and played in the redwoods. After leaving home at the age of 15, she pursued a career in the modeling industry, but soon found that it left her with low self-esteem and a lot to be desired.

An educator at heart, Anya went to college to pursue a teaching degree and spent the next 25 years in education, working in school leadership. For the last five years of her career, she served as COO for an online education company.  Throughout her life journey, she has been fascinated by human potential and how the formative years affect the rest of our lives. Always fascinated by the optimists of the world, she wrote her masters thesis on human resilience.

It is her belief that ALL of us suffer, but the way we process that suffering and choose to learn and move on from it is what defines it. She also believes that we can use our pain to create the greatest gifts that we share with the world.

Anya’s Specialized Areas of Focus:

  • Childhood Trauma: Identify  it. Understand  how it currently affects you. Turn it into power.
  • Executive Leadership Coaching: Become the  leader that others CHOOSE to follow.
  • Relationships: Eliminate  toxic patterns. Set healthy boundaries.  Attract and nurture what you desire most.

Achievements:

Today:

Anya recently gave up a corporate career to focus on her passions…connecting deeply with others and serving the world by spreading love and relieving suffering. In 2020, she founded the nonprofit organization LOTUS Humanitarian. The acronym LOTUS stands for Lifting Others Through Unselfish Service. LOTUS currently has humanitarian projects in India, Tanzania, Uganda, Cambodia, and many other underserved countries. She chose the lotus as the symbol of her nonprofit because ‘It represents the beauty that can emerge through the mud.’

“I wanted to make a more significant impact on the world both while I am living this human experience and after I’m gone.  So, I founded LOTUS Humanitarian, a nonprofit organization whose focus is on the spiritual, physical and mental growth of anyone looking to make a positive change in their lives.”

Anya is an avid daily meditator and is constantly seeking to improve her personal growth. She has read countless books and listened to countless podcasts on the subject.  Anya is a certified  yoga instructor and loves to travel. Some of the many countries she has visited include Ethiopia, Guatemala, Israel, and India.
