Astrid’s Journey to Become a Life Coach with the Jay Shetty Certification School

At the end of each year, I challenge myself with a new goal. 2020 was the year of COVID. I was asking myself what to do with my time to make the most out of it. I already had a life coach certificate from Tony Robbins in my pocket, but I was not executing my knowledge and potential. On my journey of self-discovery and healing, I needed to do something with my passion for life to be able to spread my mission around the world.

I always want to educate myself deeper and wider so I took the first leap and signed up for something new, Jay Shetty’s GENIUS. GENIUS is an initiative and global inspirational community created by Jay Shetty.  Its goal is to help us live our purpose, in life, even when we don’t know where to start. Once I signed up for Genius, I began to understand that everyone has a different clock; I just needed to wait for my time. A couple of days later, I posted something on GENIUS and found a link in my inbox about the new Jay Shetty Certification School.

This was a hint from the universe to reconnect with what I hadn’t finished and what I wanted to do. I wanted to inspire and help sensitive but strong individuals like myself and reignite their courage for life. It didn’t matter what the issue was– matter if they were going through moments of change, wanted to improve their relationship with themselves, live up to all their natural strengths, or needed to clarify their life purpose and direction, I wanted to help.

Reading about the school inspired me. I wanted to take a fresh, young, and modern approach– something Jay Shetty represents to me. It was Christmas and I decided to give myself a present. I knew that taking action is key to moving forward, so I invested in myself and signed up for Jay Shetty Certification School’s program. Now, I felt ready for 2021 and more than curious to start a new journey to unleash my potential. In hindsight, it was the best decision of the year.

In January, I started full speed. I planned to give it my all like my life depended on it and fully engaged in the program even though a large amount of material and information overwhelmed me a little. I immediately felt connected and introduced myself on the Jay Shetty Certification School platform and regularly shared my learning experience so others could identify. As I actively engaged with the community, I easily connected with like-minded souls. Some of them became my dream study coaching clients later on. It didn’t take long for me within a new family. I was consistent and passionate, and module by module, I dove in deeper.

Whenever I felt lost in my direction or questions popped up, I could reach out to a great support team. All within the Jay Shetty Certification School platform.

Jay Shetty Certification School also provides a great digital library with a navigation guide, webinar replays, coaching tools, and workshops which I still use to intensify my knowledge. I felt on fire and couldn’t wait to jump out of bed in the morning to reconnect with the school again. It made me happy to witness how my passion created a chain of positivity and inspiration. The “Workplace” and “Work Chat” Apps still make it easy to feel connected with the school around the clock.

I started in January and graduated in September. The work was intense and the teaching went deep. Jay Shetty Certification School ensures students receive the best education to be qualified as outstanding life and success coaches. The school provides awesome supervisors and the whole team is helpful and supportive. The Zoom training sessions I sent in were reviewed by supervisors. They always provided me with the feedback I needed to hear at the time.

This was incredibly helpful for my growth because too often I found myself mentoring or giving advice. With each coaching session, I became better and more self-confident as I learned to focus on coaching the person rather than their problem. The support of the supervisors, the international community, the inspiring up-to-date learning material, and Jay´s videos rounded out the package. Not only that, but I made friends for life. We still support and coach each other. We network, brainstorm, and cheer each other on. I graduated with a big hurrah and can honestly say I am wearing my coaching hat with pride.

In hindsight, I am glad I dove in full steam ahead and immediately connected with the community.

Now, as an alumnus, I remain daily involved with the school so as not to lose momentum. I am still learning and growing, but my focus lies on the business part of life- and success coaching. Jay Shetty Certification School provides amazing business tools that help. Sometimes my heart starts racing while navigating through the business training material because it can be overwhelming, but it is so inspiring and rewarding.

I am a heartfelt Self Development Coach and my mission is to pay forward what has been given to me so people can benefit from the positive ripple effect coaching creates. The time has come to show the world who YOU are!
