The 4 Program Components

Ready to become a certified professional life coach? Let’s break down the key components of our training course.

Coursework and Reflection (Individual)

The program begins with Jay’s pre-recorded video lessons, which are grouped into 11 modules. All videos are available online, so you can learn from anywhere at your own pace.

In these inspiring video lessons, you’ll learn the fundamentals of coaching. Jay covers topics like:

Coaching foundations and framework
Facilitating, creating, and utilizing change
Overcoming challenges
Wheel of life
Discovering your client
Assessing and motivating clients
First session techniques

Each module involves action and personal reflection to help you master these essential concepts.

Self-Study (Individual)

Once you’ve completed the initial coursework, you’ll use self-study techniques to deepen your knowledge. Through these activities, you’ll continue to master core competencies while also exploring coaching topics that align with your interests.

Students are required to complete 33 hours of self-selected activities and can choose from our video library containing over 165 hours of content. You’ll have access to topics like:

Coaching techniques and frameworks
Coaching demonstrations
Business workshops
Personal development
Coaching sciences

These in-depth, self-paced modules help prepare you to run a successful coaching business independently. This is also the perfect opportunity to explore niche topics that are most relevant to your coaching goals.

Coaching Practices (Cohort)

Put your coaching skills into practice with your training cohort. In this section, you’ll get a taste of how to run an in-person coaching session and what it’s like to work directly with clients.

You’ll complete 12 hours of live training and 20 hours of unsupervised coaching practice, with all sessions recorded and logged for final assessment.

Final Assessment (Individual)

To receive your coaching credentials, you’ll need to complete our final assessment. This assessment tests your coaching knowledge and skills, with high standards to ensure you’re prepared to work with clients. A score of 80% is required to pass, with up to three attempts allowed.
